Here are some pics of Just Joey, just gorgeous. The petals develop into a deeper orange. Guys if you love this colour, check out my book Fruit Cocktail in my online shop to grow a whole garden that glows in wonderful orange, apricot and peach tones. Think burnt toffee, amber and glowing sunsets. Although Vita Sackville-West is best known for her white garden, she also had a sunset garden as did the famous French artist Monet.

Thanks Brenda. It was taken at the Sheffield Botanic Garden, where the roses in all honesty could be better cared for. I only have room for the darkest red, near black roses in my garden at home.

Karen, I never noticed that Just Joey’s color gets deeper over time…what a cool observation…mine are a bit washed out and may need more H2O. I will keep an eye on it. I always want more roses…but space is limited on my 1/3 acre in the suburbs.
