The Quilter, magazine of The Quilter’s Guild of the British Isles, published quarterly from www.quiltersguild.org.uk

The Quilter is the voice of the Quilter’s Guild of The British Isles. It is available free to members. Inside is a wealth of information for quilter’s of all skill levels. News, exhibitions, design ideas, designer profiles and much more. Although not the glossiest or innovative of craft magazines, the content is what matters.

In the issue I received (spring 2009) I was particularly interested in the article on Philippa Naylor and free-motion quilting. Likewise, the work of Cefyn Burgess whose work is currently exhibited at the Quilt Museum and Gallery in York. The content is lively and varied and should prove to be of interest to all quilters. Discover what is going on locally as well as nationally.
