Complete Jewellery by Mary Helt, hardback published by Collins and Brown. ISBN 978-1-84340-459-0, price 16.99 from www.anovabooks.com

Again like Complete Ceramics (see review), I would not say that this is the most complete book I have reviewed on jewellery, but it is very good. Projects are aimed at all skill levels. Twenty five projects are provided with clear instructions and very good photography.

The book has a guide to basic equipment and tools. The bulk of the book is a guide to different ways of making jewellery from stringing, wire wrapping, the ever popular polymer clay, textile sand advanced techniques. It gives you a thorough grounding in each technique. The detailed how-to’s are good. There is also a small resources section.
