This book has just what garden visitor’s need – good photography to lure you in and interesting, informative text. I believe this book has information you will not find elsewhere. Unlike garden guide books, Louisa approaches her subject from a unique perspective. She explores ten types of garden and poses ten questions for each type. Garden experts have been asked to choose their favourite gardens. Practical information is also included so that you can contact gardens.
The aim of the book would appear to be that gardeners get more out of visiting once they are questioning their visit and the gardens reason for being. I’m not sure that this book worked for me as a whole.
