Pattern, Colour and Form by Carolyn Genders, hardback published by A&C Black. ISBN 978-0-7136-7809-3, price 22.50 from www.acblack.com
This book is full of sources of inspiration, although not as good as Genders first book of that name by the same publisher. It is said to be an insight into creativity. This is a subjective issue and although dealt with more than adequately by the author, I felt her first book was much better. The book explores themes that designers have in common such as pattern, surface and colour. Amply illustrated and well-researched, you might find a source of inspiration in the 160 pages of this book.
