Certainly one of the best books of its time, this book is still worth reading. The instructions are clear with many photographs and the examples of work are outstanding. I like the section on foiling best. It could do with a little updating with regard to layout and also content – things have moved fast in the textile industry and new techniques have come along. I am a big fan of Jane’s work and would like to see a second edition.
