With a little better editing I thought this book could have been so much stronger. I like the aran throw and striped bath mats. Event he dog blanket almost passes muster but when we get to the knitted cakes and baskets, I suddenly turn cold. What had some promise as a homestyle handknit book, turns into a 1970’s knitting at its worst nightmare, unless of course knitted cakes are your thing. Stylish and contemporary cannot be applied to tea and egg cosies. A mismatch of ideas and patterns.
