Synonymous with artists materials, the company is often the choice of artists for its quality materials. I was interested to try some of the materials, but it was difficult because I only received one coloured pencil, two water-resistant wax pastels and two neo-pastels. 

The Luminance coloured pencils come in boxes of 16, 38 and 76. The colour chart is impressive. The pencils have been developed with concentrated pigments. I like the intensity. I also liked the feel of my one example – sturdy, unliable to break when sharpening with a smooth and permanent lead that is perfect for drawing.

The Neopastel range comes in 96 colours. The two I received enabled me to see that the colour is intense, that the oil pastels are of good artists quality and blend well. The Neocolor pastels are a quality wax pastel for children and do not blend well but do overlay well.
