The authors are known by the monika of Double Trouble and have produced a number of booklets, of which this is just one. This 24 page full colour booklet is full of inspiration, not only for textile artists but for many other crafters.

The Double Trouble philosophy is to concentrate on and develop a theme to its full potential instead of being diverted from one idea to another. This method of working does not limit the number of approaches but allows for a complete understanding, leading to more interesting and creative work.

This book concentrates on getting the most from locations by being open to possibilities. It encourages the use of sketchbooks to explore a theme. What more exciting way to spend a potentially long, barren journey by observing the location carefully and recording it in different ways. The booklet finishes with suggestions of what to do with your ideas and the many things you have recorded when you arrive home.

I love the lively style, the open minds, the infinite possibilities, the improvisation of these two artists. This booklet offers an insight into their way of thinking and allows the reader to develop ways to express themselves artistically.
