Hotel EsthereaBased in Amsterdam, this tour explores some of the finest gardens of Holland including private canal gardens. Enjoy the tremendous variety of gardens on offer from chateaux to the gardens of nursery gurus. We stay at the four star Hotel Estherea in Amsterdam on a bed and breakfast basis. This tour can be taken in conjunction with the Gardens of Belgium.

Itinerary

Day 1: Monday 15 June
We visit Trompenburg arboretum in the morning with a stop in Delft for lunch and a quick tour of the Cultuurtuin, then in the afternoon Leiden Botanic Garden.

Day 2: Tuesday 16 June
Our coach tour today begins with Kasteel Warmelo, Kasteel Weldam. In the afternoon we continue to Paleis Het Loo.

Day 3: Wednesday 17 June
An early morning start today as we travel north to Dedemsvaart to visit the gardens of Mien Ruys and Ada Hoffman followed by Tuinen Pethitha and Ton der Linden.

Day 4: Thursday 18 June
Today our first stop will be the gardens and nursery of designer extraordinaire, Piet Oudolf, followed by a private tour of De Wiersse with lunch followed by a stop at May Hobijn garden.

Day 5: Friday 19 June
Open gardens of Amsterdam and Hortus Botanicus Amsterdam.

Day 6: Saturday 20 June
Open gardens of Amsterdam and a canal boat ride.

Day 7: Sunday 21 June
Another morning to explore the private gardens of Holland, then we transfer to Schipol for our flight home.
