Calico is a standard quilting fabric. Our calico is excellent quality 100% cotton fabric. I dye in my kitchen studio using cold water Procion dyes. I then print the fabric when dry using acrylic paints (sometimes fabric paints). The acrylic paint is slightly raised and tangible but the fabric remains soft with a good handle.
Please wash fabrics by hand with care. Recommended temperature is 30°C. Iron on low, recommended use of protection such as a linen ironing cloth. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach.
Other fabrics and colours are possible, please ask. The fabric is also available without printing, see our other fabrics on the website. We also sell fat quarters.
Keep checking back for new fabrics and products being added all the time.
